“Four Corners of the World” Student Cafe

Just an update on the Student Cafe event which took place at the college just over a week ago. Customer Service Course students arranged a lunch function for the whole school, some 140 people. This is what was on the menu on Friday May 20:

Such a big funtion took more than a week to prepare but it seems like the students handled it in a very professional manner! As we can see from the footage, they also had heaps of fun doing it! Here are some pictures from the day:

The event was very successful and the cafe products sold out! Everyone admired the presentation of the dishes served and enjoyed the food prepared by the students. Awesome work, Customer Service Course students! You showed that not only can you cook delicious dishes but also managed to achieve this following food handling safety rules both in food preparation and during the food service. Your function was really well-organised and the teamwork was just incredible! And the friendships you formed during this team-building exercise are an added bonus! 🙂

Many thanks to the teachers, administration and Lake67 staff along with all the students who attended the function for supporting the student cafe event and contributing to its success!
