I made Korean food such as Gimbap and Japchae with a Korean friend and host daughter. The host daughter has never made Korean food so she made it in an interesting way.
Here are the ingredients for simple Gimpab.
- 2tbs sesame oil and salt
- 1 or 2 cups rice
- 1 small bunch spinach
- 1 large carrot
- Yellow pickled radish
- Dried seaweed
You can put any vegetables in!
Simple instructions:
- Cook the rice
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil over high heat; boil spinach and carrot and season with sesame oil and salt.
- Spread rice evenly over the dried seaweed.
- Lay the prepared ingredients on top of the rice and roll and serve.
