Polylepis Lodge is an ecological reserve located in range zone of Ecuador, Polylepis is a kind of tree very important to the South American culture, and it’s also very difficult to grow because it requires a specific climate to grow. Nowadays Polylepis trees are in danger of extinction.

Some Biotechnology processes have been used to preserve different species which are in danger of extinction.
