Fixing the car

We bought a car about two or three weeks ago. So this Sunday we attempted to fix many things. However, one of them was a little frightening.

We’ve got a cord from the ceiling of the car to the window, which is used to provide energy for the navigation system. But this didn’t work. We considered this and saw that it wasn’t ordinary, a little bit dodgy. The idea was not bad, but a little dangerous. Normally professional car electricians take the energy from the battery and build a backup between cords. The last person who fixed our car was really lazy. He tapped the positive from the light in the ceiling and fixed the negative on a screw. Then he used an adapter for car energy. He wrapped cords around the poles with duck tape. This is really dangerous because cords can burn and you don’t have a backup.

So we were lazy too, but we installed a backup, saving the cord from burning and connecting it firmly. So everything is working now.

  1. This article is very difficult for me because I don’t know much about electric and mechanic fields.
If my car is broken, I will ask a service engineer for help straightaway.
My cousin is a professional engineer. He is No.1 engineer of skyline GTR Nissan,
and I have seen his picture in car magazines.
He is mainly checking racing cars still now. He can come across as disagreeable like all workman do.
But I respect him and I respect everyone who knows things I don’t know about.
