7 reasons why I prefer to live in…

Today, I want to write about the little reasons people prefer to live in this strange country. One day I was sitting in front of my laptop when I received a message on my cell phone. It was my girlfriend and she was joking with me because I’d left Colombia. She sent me this video in Spanish and I couldn’t stop laughing because it was so funny how one person from the United States speaks about curious aspects of the lifestyle of the Colombian people.

But I want add that the people’s lives are crazy because they prefer to go to parties all weekend and on Monday they arrive at their jobs with a headache. This is very funny, too: you can see crazy people having their breakfast or putting on makeup while transport has stopped. Sometimes you can feel how the cars have the music at full volume and the drivers are dancing or singing at the top of their lungs. In the streets many people outside sell all types of products you can imagine. In the city centre it’s amazing because you can find all that you could want.

  1. Jorge, I am Simon Cadavid and I am from Colombia. It’s very interesting the way our culture is seen. When I lived in Medellin, I didn’t see the culture. You didn’t live in town but that description looks like Medellin.
