Discovering Davies Creek National Park

I have recently started my CAE Certificate Course. Some weeks before I got a holiday and I took advantage of this time to get to know different amazing places around Cairns with my friends. Undoubtedly, my favourite place was Davies Creek, a dazzling natural park located on the Atherton Tableland. This place is known for its enormous trees, and besides this many important Australian animals like the bettong (rat kangoroo) and wallabies inhabit this area. There are many eye-catching landscapes; you can see amazing views, wonderful cascades and a natural water lake in the middle of natural and exuberant scenery. If you enjoy the waterfalls and hiking through nature it is a place that you can’t miss!!
