Welcome to Okinawa

Hi everyone!

I’m from Okinawa, the southernmost prefecture of Japan. Okinawa is surrounded by sea and it’s warm throughout the year. So there are many points of similarity between Okinawa and Cairns, for example climate and the tourism industry. Above all people are very kind and live unhurriedly!

Okinawa is developing its tourism industry. Many people in Japan associate “Blue sky, blue sea, and white beaches” with Okinawa. In summer, we enjoy having BBQs and fireworks, and marine sports like snorkelling!

These are pictures I took!

  1. I love Okinawa. I go to Okinawa three times every year.
The sea of Okinawa is as beautiful as the sea in Palau.
I can’t get enough of Okinawa because it has many outlying islands with beautiful beaches.
