Awesome Cairns

Bright blue sky, shinning sun and temperatures around 35 degrees – Cairns here we are!

Arrived one week ago, I’m still amazed about this beautiful city. I really appreciate doing my stay in such a cute town which is neither too small nor too big. I think I wouldn’t have felt as welcome in a metropolis like Sydney these first days. Cairns has many different facets like the big Cairns Central Shopping centre, the Lagoon, the beautiful Botanic Garden as well as the nightlife. There are so many lovely places to visit such as Fitzroy Island where you can go snorkelling, kayaking or hiking in an overwhelming landscape or Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures where you can see impressive crocodile shows and hug koalas and wallabies. So much to explore, incredible!

Hence, even though the main intention of my trip to Cairns is to study and improve my English skills, it really feels like a holiday.
