How do you feel about ceramics?

I chose to talk about ceramic art because I think everybody from my class chose pictures and my hobby is creative pottery. I have been doing this for about 9 years.

1. It was made by Anna Delargy in 2019. Its title is ‘On the Rock’. Its texture is rough because the rock is coarse. It has a duck face. However, it’s too fat because the duck sticks on a rock. Justyna taught me sometime we can see a scene like this here because birds love sitting on rocks.

2. It was made by Jimmy Kenny. Its title is ‘Ares Lu 8,6,7’. It shows their shape. Everything has skulls and in the middle there is a ship. I think around the ship there are waves. I looked at it and I think these skulls are of those who died at sea. However, what can we use these for? This is a vase in my opinion. What do you think?

3. It was made by Millie Bosworth. Its title is ‘Inner World’.
Among many pieces of art, this one caught my eye. There are a lot of bubbles outside. However, you can see flowers and insects inside. It was made on porcelain, metallic salts and custom decals. Almost of the art had beautiful pictures inside.

4. This is mid-fired ceramics made by Jennufer Valmadre. At first glance, you might think of it as an artistic, amazing and wonderful … However, I found it intriguing.
On the left I think there is someone who looks like a boy and on the right someone who looks like a girl because there are eyes, a mouth, hair and a ribbon. They are cute ceramics.

Everyting is my opinions only. What do you think about the pictures in my PowerPoint presentation? Every art has the feeling of the person who made it. Also, I think people who see it will have new ideas. I think it’s important to see art to feel something.

  1. I got a job and I will work in a company which manufactures products on ceramic materials next April. I don’t have a knowledge about ceramics, but I’m interested in them.
These pottery what you created are very cute and traditonal!
I expected you to create more pottery and else using ceramics material.

  2. I like to look at things that were made by artists.
So I am interested in this article.

There are 3 things that I think are interesting.
First, I didn’t know that ducks can sit on rocks.
Next, ‘Inner World’by Millie Bosworth is similar to Japanese pottery.
I was surprised because I thought the pottery is a Japanese tradition.
Last, the work by Jennufer Valmadre is flash and smart.

The article made me want to go to a museum.
